I plan on buying a netbook sometime soon. I don't want to spend to much money on it seeing as how I'll only really use it for internet/AIM.I googled, trust me.I found half of the links saying that the MSI Wind won't run Wi-Fi out of the box with a Hackintosh. Is that true?
The other half said that it'll run fine with drivers. Then I ran into one link that says that they have a driver for both of the wi-fi cards that are made with the MSI Wind.I'm looking for any people out there that have a MSI Wind running OS-X.Any reviews of it? Fireshot,I was in the same boat you were, wanting a alternative solution to test out Leopard OS X. I just recently got the MSI WIND and installed Leopard on it successfully. I will agree with most people that is not MAC replacement, and will never be a MAC. However, if you've been stuck in the world of Windows and you want a different experience, then this best/cheapest solution.I've been testing out the computer for the last couple of days and it's slowly converting me into investing into a mac book.If you want help or have a million questions, post your email address and I'll try my best to help you. It uses SSD.I really need a decent sized hard drive. The screen is 8'.
Currently I'm on a 22 or 24' monitor, so that'll most definitely be a down-size.But, Now instead of doing the Wind, I think i'll be paying 650$ and getting the HP g60t built to order.Core 2 Duo 2.0 ghz processor4GB RAMWindows Vista Home Premium 64 bit.16' Screen.1.3 (?) MP webcam/mic.ANDDDD, a free printer. XDEDIT: Nevermind, my brother said that if I get a new laptop, he'll take my desktop and make it a server and keep it wired to the router.I'm getting the MSI Wind U100.
